I attended an event last June 15, 2011 without knowing that I will once again meet Solenn Heussaff. I found out that besides being a sought after print and commercial model, a fashion designer, a professional make-up artist, a painter, a recording artist of MCA Universal, an actress with Regal Entertainment and TV network GMA, she will add another feather to her cap.

On that day, an important event happened between Solenn and Splash Corporation. For personal care products, I see to it that I don’t frequently change from one brand to another. Once I discover the best product that fits me, I use it for years until I found a better one. Maxipeel Hand and Body lotion

Maxipeel Hand and Body Lotion is such a wonderful lotion offered here in the Philippines. I particularly like that it has very small fine microbeads to help in the whitening and scrubbing benefits of the lotion. With only after a few weeks of using it, I noticed that my body skin became lighter and more even that it was when I was not using this product. 

It did not give my skin any irritation as other lotion products did. The smell is not very noticeable but it’s light and not overpowering. The price also fits into the budget. I would recommend to get the bigger bottle so you would easily the effects. What I hate though is that the bigger bottle is not that also big for me. It does not come in really big sizes so I had to go back to the health store and buy over and over again.

It’s a great product for me, and for its price, I would say it does all the works. It can compete even with the imported more popular brand of lotions in the market and it can even win against them. What is even more attractive is that Marian Rivera is the model, who is a very beautiful, popular actress in the Philippines which made me even more want the product. And surely, what it says on the commercial is true. It offered really whiter, smoother skin for me.

Maxi Peel Moisturizer

I have a dry skin due to the soap I am suing. Often times I have a skin which has the tendency to crack when I use this my facial soap. To be able to wear my make up appropriately I use Maxi Peel Facial Moisturizer in tandem with its sunblock solution. I like using it because it doesn’t have that greasy feeling compared to other moisturizers that I have used before. It’s a good brand for me because I have been using it for several years now and I find good results in it. I don’t have a problem with dry skin which might hasten cracking of my skin which might lead to infection. When I am suing it putting on my make up is a breeze because the make up easily sticks without smudges unlike if I am not using a moisturizer. I am not that vain when it comes to having a beauty regimen but I am particular with moisturizing and having a sunscreen. I just take the simple advice of experts when it comes to skin care. It is very important to moisturize and use a sunscreen for protection.

For me Maxi Peel is a good brand because it is endorsed by several actresses here in the Philippines and I have been using it for a couple of years now and I love the result on me as well. As for the price it is definitely a deal because it is one of the cheapest in the market.

Over all I would definitely recommend using it because I know that is safe and it has been in my beauty regimen ever since and it is my secret for keeping a healthy skin and a youthful look.

Skin White Power Whitening Face Cream Powder in Sachet

I bought this wonderful facial face powder cream from Skin White when it was offered at a discounted price in Watsons Department Store in Market Market. It is so handy to carry and that is the reason why I bought it.

It serves as a facial powder and a good matte finish which is just perfect for my skin. It is white in variant but it is pinkish in color which is rich and creamy in texture. I just put a pea size of the amount on my index finger and then spread it across my face which includes my t-zone area. As I dab a small amount, I slowly spread it as it gives a balance or equal pigment on my skin.

If you have darker skin tone, I prefer that you would not select the white variant because it will be too whitish for you that you would look like a zombie. But if you are fair like me, this is just perfect for you. Skin White Power Whitening Face Cream offers skin whitening in 7 days. But as for me, I get instant whiteness when I apply this cream since it is a powder is its essence and it would really improve that skin tone that I already have.

My skin feels so soft and smooth while applying this cream from Skin White. It does also have a sweet smell like sugar and candy and with powder. If you don’t like sweet scented powder, then this is really not for you. If you have sensitivity with powder creams then I suggest you would opt to skip this product and just rely on what your skin is at ease.

But as for me, I don’t find any irritation or itchiness whenever I use Skin White Power whitening face cream powder. I guess one advantage that you can give this product is that you don’t have to mess around to see powder residue on your clothing whenever you put powder on your face. This beautiful product is in cream and it is just easy to spread since it is easily absorb by the skin.

You can test it on your wrist first and spread it evenly to see if you feel anything itchy. But as for me, it is safe to use since I have sensitive and oily skin which is prone to pimples but this wonderful product didn’t clog my pores to give me breakouts. I highly recommend this to all ladies who wants to have fair, smooth and younger looking skin.

Skin White Glutathione Lotion with SPF 20

Lately I have been using lotions from the Skin White line. I have used their Skin White Milk Whitening Lotion for a month (their 100ml lasted for about a month for me). Now, I bought their other variant which is the Skin White Glutathione Lotion with SPF 20.

What I love about this variant is that it smells good (the Milk variant smelled better though, but this one isn’t half-bad). Plus it provides a stronger protection against the sun since it has SPF 20. I don’t usually buy products with glutathione since I’m not really interested in products that would make my skin whiter. I love my tan complexion. But I guess this is a good product for me because it would help in lightening dark areas on my skin (like my elbows and my knees). With the whitening effect of the Glutathione, my skin’s color would all be in one shade. I also noticed that (compared to the Milk variant), my skin glows. I mean, I noticed that it looks healthier and whiter unlike with the other variant wherein I hardly noticed any difference in the shade. I also noticed that the lotion in this variant is thicker compared to the Milk variant I used.

I love this variant and I’m leaning towards it. Although I don’t see it displayed often in the shelves of cosmetics shops here in the Philippines (I usually see the Milk variant), it’s a better product than the other variant I have tried and used.

There seemed to be tons of whitening products coming out in the market which is good for the customers. They have a wide variety to choose from. I, for one, likes trying out these products. Recently, there’s a new product that came out from SkinWhite. It’s a skin whitening product for the face. Since I’ve been using SkinWhite’s lotion for a long time now, I decided to give this one a try too.

The product is claimed to be 3-in-1 which intrigued me a bit. It is a whitening, a cream and a powder all at the same time. How can a cream become a powder too? But I tried out the product anyway. And it is really a cream that moisturizes your face and transforms into a powder in the end. Pretty cool I must say. But what I really like about the product is that the effect is long lasting. You don’t have to reapply as often as you need to if you’re just using loose powder. And more importantly, it hides blemishes and dark spots which is the very reason why I kept using the product.

The product also promises to dramatically whiten skin in just 7 days which I don’t really believe that it can. I have used a lot of products before that promised the same thing and most of it did not really came through. It does whiten your face though but not in as fast as 7 days. It may take weeks maybe as it did with me. But more than its whitening effect, I like the product more for being a powder.

The product is super affordable, only 0.22 cents for an 8 gram pouch of the product.

I started using this just last year. This is available in sachet and in bottle at a very affordable price. I purchased this for dark spots on my body such as my knees, elbows and even my inner thighs. This lotion contains Renewhite 3C which can whiten the skin in as early as 2 weeks. This is also enriched with Vitamin B5, B3 and E which moisturize the skin. It keeps the skin from getting flaky and dry.


 I always apply this lotion at night time to hydrate and at the same time whiten my skin. This is not good to apply in the morning or when you are outdoor since it does not have a sun protection. I like its scent. It is long lasting. This lotion has a creamy texture and easily absorbs on the skin. I never experienced any ill effects on my skin. I can see its good result. Now, I notice that I have even and whiter skin. My dark spots get a bit lighter than before. My final verdict, this is a good skin whitener and moisturizer rolled into one. I would highly recommend this to all women who are longing to have whiter skin.

I’m a man and im really seeking for the best lotion that satisfies me. Last month I tried this brand of lotion made by Splash Corporation at Canumay, Valenzuela City Philippine. It has the qualities that im seeking for a lotion.

This lotion is based on Papaya and Lemon flavor the smell of this lotion is very pleasant to my nose it really attracts women who I mingle with. This product is new here in the Philippines, it is released last year and now there is a new version of it with add-ons like Citrus White formula, Vitamin C and Sunscreen to effectively whiten skin. SPF level is 8 and approve by Dermatologist.

One of the best attribute of this lotion is it is water based lotion so it is not sticky after use and it dries faster. I regularly use this product before going to school, You just apply it after bathing and your good to go, many of my classmates thought im using a perfume I just laugh and say to them that its my lotion I don’t use perfume anymore because my lotion is already pleasing to smell.

I recommend to all men to try this lotion. It helps allot for men who don’t want to use lotion because of the stickiness.

Splash Control Hair Polish

I love curling my hair. But the problem is my hair doesn’t always hold it for too long. An hour would pass and the curls in my hair would be gone. It’s really disappointing, especially if I want to look presentable with my friends when we’re out or when we have presentation and plays in our school.

During my spare time, I would go to the mall with my friend. We usually head to Watsons to find new cosmetic products that are affordable. That time, I was lurking their hair sprays and lotions area. My friend then pointed this product: Splash Control Hair Polish. She then told me to buy since it was affordable and that I didn’t want to buy the pricey bottles of hairsprays. At first, I was skeptical because it was just a hair polish and that it would never hold my curls for too long. After much prodding, I then gave in to her suggestion and bought a bottle. I tried the product about a week after the purchase because I need to look pretty for a date.

After curling my hair, I placed a medium-sized amount on my palm (about the size of half a golf ball) and placed it on my curls. I didn’t run through my curls with my fingers. Instead, with my palms covered with the hair polish I scrunched up my hair, cupping the curls with my palms so that the curls wouldn’t lose their form. I then added a little more of the polish on the upper part of my hair so that it’s as glossy as my curls. What I like about this product (compared to hairsprays) is that it doesn’t make my hair stiff. With the Splash Conrol Hair Polish, my hair just looks natural (I would normally describe my hair with the product as a “damp hair in a cute and sexy kind of way.”)

Surprisingly, my curls that day stayed even when I was already at home. I really loved how it made my curls stay and how natural looking it looked on my hair. Since I only placed a small amount of the hair polish on my top hair, my face didn’t become too oily from the product. My curly hair looked really sleek and natural. My main problem with my hair (if it’s just as it is) is that it’s really dry and poofy. But with the hair polish, my hair looks really healthy and tamed. If you use the product and only use the ample amount of hair polish for your hair, it would look really great on your hair. At least, that was my experience with the product. I always buy this product and only use it to hold my curls. I don’t usually use it every day since I’m afraid that using it too much would make my scalp too oily and hence, make my face too oily. I guess the trick in using this product is that you don’t have to use it excessively. Just use whatever amount you think is right and for sure your locks would look great.
